BC Wilds and Wine : Wine Blind Tasting

Lark invites you to a very special event on March 26, 2010 in celebrating five years as a member of the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Lark has been arbiters of high-quality and classically tasteful fashion in the area for half a decade; and hope to celebrate this with an evening of great wines and food from the local they have made a home in.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mount Pleasant Elementary School through Growing Chefs, local chefs promoting a love of urban agriculture in our children.

Event Highlight 1: BC Wilds and Wine

This event will highlight the best of BC's exotic ingredients like fiddleheads, huckleberries, salmon or bison and the local wines crafted from BC terroir that make them shine. Six top tier exclusive BC spring wines from select boutique wineries will be served in our tasting room along with a food pairing for each wine.

Event Highlight 2: Silent Auctions

It's Lark's 5th year anniversary, and a lot of fabulous surprises will be prepared for the night. Here are some of the entries for the silent auctions....

Made in Canada with goat hide, silk lining and comes with a handmade 100% cotton bag. 

No. 2: Zeha-Berlin Carl Haessner Olympia Shoes

Made in Italy with Italian leather. This shoes marks the first ever collaboration in over one hundred years of Germany's Zeha history. The Carl Haessner llX Olinpia shoe is inspired by their original soccer shoes of the 50's that led Germany to the World Cup victory in 1954.
