Feature: Dents gloves pt2

For two hundred and thirty three years Dents have been experts in glove making. With the recent turn of weather in Vancouver it's hard to deny that a beautiful pair of gloves would make the outdoors more enjoyable.

Here is a clip from the BBC which takes you on a factory tour.

Wearing something which takes so much craftsmanship to produce is something which drives us to bring the best to Lark. We'll be sharing all that we know about the Dents company and their gloves with you so if you like what you see you'll just have to come back for more!

Better yet come by the shop and let us measure your hand to find your perfect size and try a pair on.

If you are unable to visit Lark in person here are some tips on how to find your perfect size.

YOUR GLOVE SIZE

If you are not sure about your glove size, measure the hand you normally write with around the palm at its widest point in inches (excluding the thumb), then round up to the nearest half or whole number - this will be your glove size.
Glove sizes come in half and whole numbers, between 7½ and 11 for men and 6 and 8½ for women.  For example if your hand measures 8½ inches around its widest point (excluding the thumb), your glove size is 9 (Note: one inch = 25.4mm).
Where gloves are sized S,M,L,and XL, the following guide will apply  (measurements refer to your glove size, as calculated above, not to English inches):

For Men:
Small 7½ - 8
Medium 8½ - 9
Large 9½
Extra Large 10 - 10½

For Women:
Small 6 - 6½
Medium 7 - 7½
Large 8 - 8½

*If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.  Gloves should be snug at first but will stretch.

We have Dents Gloves for ladies and gents available online.

Now Online: Barbour To Ki To

"Barbour continues its exciting collaboration with Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida for a third season. This mens-only, Beacon Heritage collection pays homage to Barbour's motorcycling and military history, beautifully crafted with a wealth of extraordinary features. The Beacon Heritage range is a celebration of Barbours iconic history, with Tokihito's design and craftmanship."

The military jacket is possibly the most serious piece of outerwear ever made.

We've spent a lot of time with this piece, taking pictures, trying it on and finding all of its pockets. After much thought we have come to the conclusion that if you are really serious, and excited about this jacket, feel free to book an hour or so with one of our staff to take you on a tour of its many details... seriously.

Watch as our To Ki To selection becomes available online.
